Hey Julie,

You are dynamite! I just came across your channel yesterday, and I am so glad I did. You are so knowledgeable in an area where I am weak. I am a new fan:)

@Tom - Thanks so much for the great comments and questions. Regarding "space-less keywords" for your channel tags, it certainly cannot hurt. In fact, Channel aside, I suggest doing this for your videos' tags, too -- just for your main 2-3 keyword phrases.

A good example is with names: If I were looking to optimize a video for my name, let's say, I would include the following 3: julie perry julie-perry julieperry

Again, this is not something to go hog wild on -- just maybe for a few of your most common keyword phrases (remember, there are no commas when filling in YouTube tags, so having a hyphen and a "space-less" version will help to make sure you're covering all your bases).

Another example is for my product name, I would think about using: youtube secret weapon youtubesecretweapon youtube-secret-weapon

One reason this is going to help is if people are searching for domains, in which case they'll likely type them altogether -- so this is definitely a good idea for better known product names.

Thanks again for the question, Tom.

Google owns Blogger, too, however WordPress blogs crush Blogger in the SERPs, why is that?

Per the channel name, I understood the "branding" idea, but the "keyword" value was not immediately intuitive. Then I just searched Google for "stockmarketexpert" and what do you know ... 18,000 results returned. I simply neglected to account for the possibility that, a profound tendency for laziness among people would reach so far as the space bar!

Go figure.

Question: Should I add these "space-less keywords" to my channel tags?
