The “YouTube Secret Weapon” Is Born

And we’ve got product! Er…uh…rather, the start of a product. :-)

Paul Colligan and I (Julie Perry) held our Leveraging YouTube webinar last week — October 7th & 8th — for his New Media Inner Circle subscribers. We are THRILLED with the amount of information we were able to cover: Four hours of mad content! Yep, I spilled it ALL.

I think Paul’s NMIC members were pretty thrilled, too, based on some of the feedback via Twitter:

So, as I move along to get my video editing in order, the biggest question we face is what to call this puppy when we release it in product form — as a two-part DVD set.

I’ve considered “Leveraging YouTube,” “YouTube Alchemy,” “Creating a YouTube YouTopia” (okay, kinda cheesy that one), and of course there is always just plain ol’ simple and self-explanatory “YouTube Traffic Strategies.”

…And then I just noticed a trend of what people with experience applying my YouTube marketing advice for the last few months are saying:

Compare that with Paul’s opening annoucement to his New Media Inner Circle about this exclusive webinar event, and I think we’ve got ourselves a product name!

That was easy.

Now let’s go optimize some YouTube videos.

Wait, does that make me the “weapon”? …Guess it does.
