George – I think that sounds like a perfect thing to be able to embed. I have not seen anything exactly like it; the YouTube Badge App on Facebook comes the closest in my mind to anything I’ve seen that’s similar. Although with that, it only displayed a small thumbnail for each video you wanted to include from your channel — up to 25, I believe. It was supposed to update dynamically when you added or deleted a video, but from what I remember, that never worked quite right and required that you manually refresh the code.

As for what you’re talking about for a website or blog, I’ll have to continue looking around to see what’s out there, but I imagine there’s a script or widget that does something similar. If there is, it’s certainly worth tracking down (or even creating, for that matter!) I’ll keep an eye out.

Nice article my friend. I would like to know if there is away to create a table of contents from my youtube channel. Example: I would like to add a script to my site that would auto create a table of contents with “my videos” that I have uploaded to my youtube channel and have it displayed on my website. If I delete/add a video on youtube, this would also reflect on my table of contents on my website. Any suggestions?

It’s a problem if you just select a color scheme in “Channel Design”. Even if you like one of the out-of-the-box color schemes, be sure to hand-pick colors below in “Advanced Design Customization”.

You may of course choose the same colors as defined in the color scheme – one by one, copy the #RGB value, click “pick”, select any color in the pop-up window, afterwards paste the original color back in. Do this successively for all your colors – and afterwards the embedded channel will use the colors you chose, ie. the colors from the theme.
