Whenever I mention to people that I’m an expert on how to optimize YouTube videos for maximum traffic, I often get a story about “this person” they know who received 100,000+ or even a million views on a video.
Yoo-hoo! That’s not the point.
Note that it’s not always about getting 100,000 to a million or several million views on YouTube, it’s just making sure that those views you are GETTING are from people who have an interest in your target niche topic and what you have to say!
For most people selling products and services online, that means you want viewers who may eventually BUY something from you.
Well, that is, unless you’re Chris Crocker (the “leave Britney alone” dude) or someone who is just trying to become famous for “famous’s sake” … In that case, you’ll appeal to any type of general audience.

Getting more TARGETED audience views will drive your positioning and results for your keywords and keyword phrases in the YouTube search index.
This will give you more of a chance to have your video(s) to be discovered, and perhaps then embedded on remote sites, such as someone else’s blog…

…The end result will be that more people will actually SEE your video.
And here’s a bonus: Because these audience views are more targeted, your viewers will be more likely to TAKE ACTION upon viewing your content.
